S Collective was founded on a shared obsession with precision, performance, and innovation. What began as a small team of automotive enthusiasts has evolved into a full-service studio — combining artistry and engineering to set new standards in detailing, customization, and performance care.
S Collective was born not from a business plan, but from a shared belief — that things could be done better. It started in a 900-square-foot barn on Cody and Blair Smith’s ranch, where one employee maintained their growing Ferrari collection. That humble beginning wasn’t about commerce; it was about passion, precision, and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence.
By 2021, that pursuit outgrew the barn. A 7,500-square-foot facility was built — a new home
designed for craftsmanship, creativity, and performance.
A year later, in 2022, Daniel Smith — no relation to Cody, despite the shared last name — introduced the idea that became Veloce Autoworks, a paint protection film company now recognized as one of the fastest-growing in Texas.
In 2023, Cody and Daniel met Kurt Smith (also no relation), founder of Ten Flat Detailing, one of the nation’s premier paint correction and detailing shops. Ten Flat’s reputation for meticulous surface refinement made it the perfect addition to the growing family.
Then, in 2024, the team connected with Silvo Zucchet and his fiancee Kelsey Karanges, founders of Safeplace Auto, a trusted Porsche racing, repair, and service specialist. Their expertise brought depth and credibility to the Collective’s service side. By late 2024, it became clear that these elite yet distinct brands shared something deeper — a
common vision for quality, innovation, and pride in the craft. To unite them under one name, The S Collective was formed.
In 2025, Ian Adame, founder of IA Designs, Dallas’s leading Porsche upholstery shop, joined the group, completing the Collective’s suite of capabilities — from service and protection to detailing, interiors, and design. The addition of a mobile detailing division soon followed,
extending the same standard of excellence to customers’ doorsteps.
Today, S Collective represents over 25,000 square feet of specialized facilities and a leadership team with more than 90 years of combined experience across the automotive spectrum.
That experience didn’t come easily. It came from decades of learning — sometimes the hard way — refining our skills, our vision, and our standards until we built something greater than the sum of its parts.
We don’t see competition; we see opportunity. We don’t chase trends; we set standards.
